My name is Bart, and I’m really passionate about quite a few outdoor elements myself. My interests mainly revolve around winter sports, water sports, and outdoor cooking.
Winter sports because I’ve been on skis since I was 3 years old, and by the time I turned 6, I switched to snowboarding. Winter sports are the ultimate form of relaxation for me. Clearing your mind and having fun with the people you care about. Water sports because I’ve spent entire weeks on my grandparents’ and parents’ boat since I was young. Cruising to Zeeland, the IJsselmeer, you name it. Wakeboarding and waterskiing behind the rubber boat, you know the drill. Outdoor cooking because with my hospitality school education and my love for creating delicious food, this is something I really enjoy doing.
Last but not least, hiking. It helps me escape the daily rat race and stay true to myself.
So, most of the content I create will fall within these categories because they’re what I prefer to write about and what I feel the most affinity for.
My name is Ivo, and I have a deep passion for the great outdoors, camping, outdoor activities, and fishing. For me, it’s all about creating unforgettable memories, preferably in a beautiful natural setting.
It all started with my love for fishing and camping with my parents. Now, 30 years later, my goal is to inspire and ignite a sense of enthusiasm about outdoor life in as many people as possible. I believe that nature has so much to offer us, from serene offline moments to thrilling off-road adventures.
Together with Bart, my aim is to motivate others to explore and experience nature off the beaten path, regardless of their background or level of experience. What particularly excites me is the fall season, especially rainy days.
While some may prefer to retreat indoors, I feel an irresistible urge to go outside precisely then. It’s exhilarating, and although it’s hard for me to put into words for others, I try to convey it in my texts from time to time.
In addition to my love for camping and outdoor life, I call my fishing hobby “my inherent quirk.” It’s the way I destress and enjoy the moment, no matter the phase of my life.
